Lake Country has done it again. They have created a new foam buffing pad that incorporates CCS design and technology. The CCS stand for Collapsed Cell Structure. Basically, this means that the face of the foam has been marked with multiple pockets of closed foam. These little pockets capture waxes and polishes and release them during the buffing process. These pockets also reduce the absorption of liquid into the foam. This results in longer working times and less product lost to absorption by the foam.

These CCS pads are designed for use with a DA polisher. They feature a flat face and full width hook and loop material on the back. The flat face allows more surface area of the pad to contact the paint. When combined with the CCS features, the result is a longer working time and better results. You’ll be able to polish troublesome area for a longer time and get the results you want faster.

The full width hook and loop backing material ensures a secure bond to the backing plate of your polisher. It also prevents the cookie cutter damage to the foam that occurs in pads where the backing material isn’t as large or as strong.
