When your regular polish or compound won't work, there is only one thing you need to do…reach for Optimum Hyper Compound. Nothing cuts through the tough stuff as quickly, safely and as effectively as Hyper Compound.
Like Optimum Polish and Optimum Compound, Optimum Hyper Compound contains plenty of oils to keep the polish from dusting and drying out from the heat of heavy polishing. These oils offer a much longer working time than typical compounds.
Keep in mind, Hyper Compound is meant for the tough stuff. Because it is so aggressive, it will leave behind some hazing. You will want to follow up with a milder polish such as Optimum Compound or Optimum Polish.
Optimum Hyper Compound works best via a rotary polisher. Like the other Optimum polishes, the level of cut is determined by the type of polishing pad used. We suggest using a wool pad, or either an cutting or light cutting pad at 1,000-1,500 rpm with Optimum Hyper Compound.
