Wash and Dry

Washing your car is the thing you'll do most often. It is also the best time to prevent swirls and extend the life of your wax or sealant. Washing gives you a chance to remove the dirt and road grime that is hiding your beautiful paint job. You spent all that time detailing the car, so you want to make sure that it stays that way.

Choosing a car soap is often a matter of personal preference. The general rule is that as long as you stick with a dedicated car soap, you should be fine. Using anything else will most likely result in stripping the wax or sealant off the paint. Most car washes have similar formulas and offer similar results. Premium washes offer better cleaners and higher lubricity to make washing safer. Our advice is to find something you like and stick with it.

The proper tools also make a big difference. A lambs wool wash mitt is great to use. Our Microfiber Wash Mitts and Wash Sponges are also excellent and safe on your car's finish. Using regular sponges or dish towels will only lead to swirls.

When it comes to drying the car, a microfiber waffle weave towel is the way to go. They are much more safe and effective than bath towels or the traditional chamois.
